The story of how I became a Nutritionist is not as simple as you could imagine.

I always had a great interest in cooking and my family incouraged this passion. My aunt, in particular, inspired many of my recipes.

I love being in the kitchen, experimenting and creating new dishes with the few of ingredients I find in my fridge. When I'm angry, when I'm said, when I'm worried, when I'm happy, when I feel like being with friends, I cook.

But, at first, I didn't think about the possibility to turn my love for food in a real job.

After high school, I didn't know what I wanted to become. Since I don't like being inactive, I started working as a shop assistant in a bakery near my home. At the same time, I also worked as a baby sitter, as a haidresser assistant and I helped children do their homework.

This activities, apparently so distant from each other, made me realize how important is human interaction for me.

In 2007 I felt it was time for a big change and decided to start studying Biology at the University of Milan.

I graduated in Biology Applied to Biomedical Research in 2015, and after I did an internship at the Traslational Protemics Laboratory of the Pharmaceutical Research Institute "Mario Negri".

I was happy to put into practise what I studied during the previous years, but I also missed direct interaction with other people.

I felt like I was neglecting my human qualities. Then, my passion for cooking showed me the right direction.

I told you that I love cooking, but not only for myself. I enjoy cooking for others a hundred times more. This lead me to find a job where I could be useful for others, where I could express my love for food, but also unite my Biology degree to my talent for human interaction.

This is the reason why I decided to start a postgraduate course in Nutrition and Metabolism, with a specialization in Clinical Nutrion in Barcelona.

During the course, I also worked as an intern at the children hospital Hospital de Nens. Here, I had the chance to learn from a dietician, an endocrinologist, several gastroenterologists and allergologists. This experience was so valuable that I decided to add some months to the compulsory duration of the internship.

Once returned in Milan, I passed the qualifying examination and became part of the National Order of Biologists.

I often attend courses and classes to keep my knowledge updated.

​

To this day, I work in two medical studies in Milan, the first in via Crescenzago 36 (Piazza Udine) and the other in Via Giulio Romano 27 (Porta Romana).

In addition to that, I work as a nutritionist with the specialists of Centro Polispecialistico 4 Rehab in viale San Gimignano 6 (Bande Nere) and at Centro Estetico Beauty & Co in Peschiera Borromeo.
